Superbrands Portugal revealed, at its 20th national gala, the 42 brands of excellence of 2024. The event was attended by more than 300 professionals and public figures. Do you know Bill Gates? Martin Luther King? And the philosopher Plato? It is quite likely that you know all of them, even if you have not been in contact with these, some of the most famous personalities of all time. Given the significant impact they had on society, Bill Gates, Luther King and Plato will hardly be forgotten, even if we do not identify with them. But even if you do not have their biographies on your bedside table, you cannot deny that at some point in history, they stood out and entered the minds – and, most likely, the hearts – of millions of citizens. It was in this spirit that Pedro Diogo Vaz, Country Manager of Superbrands in Portugal, began his speech at the 20th national gala, which took place on 29 October at the Casino Estoril, and distinguished 42 top-of-mind brands present in the Portuguese market.
